Kingwood International Resorts has secured over $14M for the expansion phase planned next to the Grande Hotel according to Laura Kinsler from the Growthspotter. The new development will be on the current driving range next to the Grande Hotel as well as parts of the Watson and Palmer golf courses, which will be redesigned. That new expansion estimated at $1 Billion will include a new hotel, vacation condos, a 10-acre swimming lagoon, and an amphitheater. Fred Zohouri, chairman of Kingwood told Growthspotter that the plans include expanding the Reunion Grande Hotel, as well as six separate condo-hotel buildings. These buildings will represent different architecture and interior designs from around the world and will range from five to ten stories and include one and two bedrooms.
