According to an article in the Orlando Business Journal, Osceola County, the home of Reunion Resort and Club, is among the fastest-growing markets for luxury 2nd homes. It references an analysis done by a luxury second home marketplace firm Pasco out of San Francisco. Osceola County was the only Florida County to make the top 10 nationally and came in at no. 2 with a 6.1% year over year increase in second home locks. As the regular housing market has cooled in response to increased mortgage rates the luxury second home sector is maintaining its pace. The latest Luxury Home Marketing report indicates that Metro Orlando’s luxury real estate sector is still considered a sellers market.
